Training

The night before Training

  1. After you have had your evening meal, clean your football boots ready for training (if needed).
  2. Pack your training bag, not forgetting your boots and shin pads.
  3. Prepare your training kit ready to put on in the morning, check to see what the weather is going to be like and pack extra clothes if necessary.

Training Day

  1. Out of bed early. The quicker you wake up, the more time you have to prepare yourself for training ahead.
  2. Try to have breakfast at least 45 minutes before you leave your house.
  3. After breakfast change into your training kit and check your training bag.
  4. Prepare and pack yourself a drink for training, this should be non fizzy.
  5. When you arrive home after training, put your training kit in for the wash and then have a bath or shower.
  6. Sit down for a short while and let your body recover.
  7. Clean your football boots!!!
  8. Do not throw your kit on the floor and wait for mum or dad to pick it up!
