Under 13’s (2007/2008)
Team Approach
The AFC Lightning under 13 squad for the 2007/2008 season is well established
The Under 13 managerial team of Warren Davies (manager) and Justin Webb (ass. manager) has a good track record. Over the past four years they have guided their team to 2 cup wins, 2 runners-up trophies, 2 semi-finals and a promotion play-off. “We have specifically enjoyed watching the kids develop and plan to continue investing our time progressing individual development. Training sessions will consist of a mixture of fitness, core skills and tactical awareness.”
For this season we will continue with a 5 prong plan:
- Developing the kids’ technical skills
- Having fun
- Getting the kids fit
- Making them tactically aware
- Creating a family friendly environment
